Andrew Melvin Talbot, Sr.

SERVICES HELD FRIDAY FOR ANDIE TALBOT, SR.

Funeral services were conducted Friday at the St. John LDS Chapel for Andrew Melvin Talbot, Sr., 72, who died at Blackfoot, April 3, 1982.

At the funeral home, family prayer was by Calvin Dredge. At the chapel with Counselor Nolan Blaisdell officiating, prelude and postlude music was by Lysle Deschamps. Invocation was by Rene Deschamps. Musical numbers were vocal duet, Helen Jones and Wanda Edwards; vocal, Jenkin Jones; organ solo, Wesley Crowther. Accompanist was Cherrel Budge. A poem written by Mary Rose Jones was given by Betty Richards. Other speakers were President S.A. Hendricks and Nolan Blaisdell, who gave the obituary. Benediction was by Arch Harris.

Concluding rites were conducted at the St. John Cemetery with Raiford G. Benson offering the dedicatory prayer. Flowers were supervised by St. John Relief Society members. Services and arrangements were under the direction of Benson Funeral Home.

Casket bearers were Roscoe Colton, Mitchell Deschamps, Doyle Talbot, Gary Talbot, Theron Blaisdell and Marion Monson.

Talbot, Pocatello; Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Talbot and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Leon L. Williams and family, Mrs. Howard Stander, Blackfoot; Mrs. Gertie Talbot and family, Jerome; Mrs. Bob Davis and family, Mrs. Edith Lester, Boise; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marsh, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Monson, Mrs. Mary Glade, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. John Pierce, Cleon Pierce, Ogden.
