ALPHEOUS L. JONES

Alpheous L. Jones, 70, of 461 Mill Street, Malad, died Tuesday afternoon (Apr 17, 1956) at the Oneida County Hospital following a lingering illness.

Mr. Jones was born April 8, 1886 at Malad, a son of William E. and Martha L. Lusk Jones. He was reared and educated at Malad and had lived here all of his life. Mr. Jones was never married. He was engaged in farming and stock raising, and was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are two brothers and five sisters: Hugh L. Jones of Idaho Falls and Perry L. Jones, Malad; Mrs. Bernice Leigh, Mrs. Bertha Jones, Mrs. Olive Clark and Mrs. Delila Ward all of Malad; Mrs. Lucretia Peck, Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, at 1:00 p.m. in the Malad First ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Howard Neal officiating.

Friends may call at his home, 461 Mill Street, Friday evening after 4:00 p.m. and Saturday until time of services.

Interment will be in the Malad City cemetery with the Benson Funeral Service Co. in charge.
