ALICE MORSE HESS DIES AT TREMONTON
Funeral services for Alice Morse Hess, 66, of Fielding, Utah who died Wednesday at the Valley Hospital in Tremonton, of a heart attack, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Fielding LDS Ward Chapel.
Viewing will be Friday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton and at the family home in Fielding, Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services.
Mrs. Hess was born October 26, 1899, at Samaria, Idaho, a daughter of Evan Jenkins and Agnus Ann Clarkson Morse. She received her education in the Samaria schools. She married Franklin Wallace Hess on December 3, 1920 in Ogden and has made her home at Fielding since that time.
She is survived by eight children: Franklin W. Hess Jr., Mrs. Jack (Elizabeth) Kuhn, San Francisco; Lewis H. Hess, San Rafael, Calif.; Evan Morse Hess, Plymouth; LeMoyne K. Hess, Roy Utah; Mrs. Darrell (Bonnie) Godfrey, Fielding; Mrs. Wynn (Lorraine) Wood, Brigham City, and Mrs. Arvid (Marlene) Anderson, Kearns, Utah; 28 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Five brothers and sisters, Elsie Arnn, Ely, Nevada; George Morse, Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Orren (Marguerite) Evans, Richard Morse, and Mrs. Clyde (Ethel) Suttlemeyer, Ogden.
