MARGARETTA TIPPETTS DIES AT NURSING HOME

Aletha Margaretta Nattress Tippetts, 79, Malad, died October 20, 1980 in the Oneida County Nursing Home.

She was born march 11, 1901 at Salt lake City to Charles John and Alethea Ringwood Nattress.

She grew up and attended schools in Salt lake City and Raft River. She married Austin Doris Tippetts, Nov. 17, 1921 at Ogden, Utah. The marriage was solemnized Sept. 14, 1970 in the Logan LDS Temple.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a Relief Society teacher. For many years she had helped and cared for the sick people in the Malad Valley.

Survivors include her husband, malad; one son and two daughters, Ray DeVon Tippetts, Riverton, UT; Mrs. LaVere (Joyce) Nieffenegger, Malad; and Mrs. Max (JoAnn) Estep, Harrisville, UT; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one brother and one sister, Leo Nattress, Roy, UT; and Rosalie Jenks, Wendell. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one son and one daughter.

Funeral services were held Oct. 23 in the Malad LD Second Ward Chapel with Bishop Wesley Crowther officiating.
