Aletha Harris Fallis Dimick (Birth 16 Oct 1905/Death 15 Dec 1994)
OGDEN – Aletha Fallis Dimick, 89, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994.
She was born October 16, 1905 in Layton, Utah, a daughter of Willard R. and Phoebe Layton Harris.
She married Delore Fallis May 29, 1939 in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. He passed away Oct, 29, 1971. She married Dewey H. Derrick March 4, 1974 in Ogden, Utah. He passed away Dec. 22, 1979.
Throughout her life she enjoyed fishing and traveling and just life in general, and loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, William and wife Rosemarie Fallis, Fielding, Utah; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also, three step-sisters, Stella Martin of Nebraska; Mrs. Dell (May) Gibson and Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Ellis both of Ogden.
She was preceded in death by a son Rodger, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1074 North Fairfield Road. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services.
Interment Malad Cemetery in Idaho.
