SHELLEY, Ida – Abbie W. Bloxham, 85, of Shelley, died Thursday, July 8, 1999 at Columbia Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

She was born January 3, 1914 in Downey, Idaho to Joseph Wise and Martha Abby Wardley.

She married Cohn L. Bloxham March 27, 1935 in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple.

She is survived by her husband, Cohn Bloxham, Shelley; three daughters, Darleen Avilla, Boise; Abby M. (Cliff) Jensen, Rigby, and Karen (Garf) Thomas, Mexico, Mo; 19 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Clarese Christensen, one son, Leon Bloxham, three grandsons, three granddaughters, five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, at the Shelley, South Stake Center (675 South Milton), with President Lloyd Searle conducting. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, July 11, 7 p.m. until 8:3o p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley, and Monday morning, 9:30 a.m. till 10:40 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
