Wanda Hadfield Voss

ST. ANTHONY – Wanda Hadfield Voss, 79, a longtime resident of the Teton area, died March 28, 1993, at Rexburg Nursing Center of natural causes.

She was born June 8, 1913, at Smithfield, Utah to Earl and Clio Hawkes Hadfield. She grew up in the Malad Pleasantview area, where she received her education.

On Dec. 16, 1935, she married Raymond Voss in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived Lehi, Utah, and Malad before moving to Teton in 1938, where they farmed. Her husband died May 27, 1975.

She was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed making braided rugs and gardening.

Survivors include her children, Raymond Voss II of St. Anthon, Ralph Voss and Richard Voss, both of Teton, Mrs. Frank (Wanda) Potter of Wilford, Mrs. Ross (Ruby) Parkinson of Rexburg, Mrs. Lyle (Pauline) Schmardebeck of Egin, Mrs. Ray Gene (Lois) Warnberg of St. Anthony, and Mrs. Urgel (Leone) Collins of Salt Lake City; 31 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Teton LDS Church with Bishop Mark Orme officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony and Wednesday from noon until time of services. Burial will be in Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
