Jordan Ray Naylor
September 9, 1989 – June 14, 2023
We are sad to announce the unexpected passing of Jordan Ray Naylor, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. While his family and friends are saddened by his death, they are thankful for his life. Jordan loved spending time with his family and especially with his oldest son Nash. Jordan loved playing sports and spent his last day coaching Nash on his minor league baseball team. Being a Father and spending time with his family is what Jordan loved the most. Just recently before his passing, Jordan spent an evening dancing with his youngest boy Paxx at a friend’s wedding until he fell asleep. His long time Sweetheart Shala was the love of his life and “partner in crime” in every adventure.
Jordan was born in Ogden Utah on September 9, 1989 to Lori Lynn Thomas and Casey Naylor. He lived in Oregon for some years and then moved to Malad where he attended and graduated from Malad High School. Jordan grew up loving sports, while attending Malad High School he was on the basketball team and was the quarterback for the football team. Jordan also loved to go hunting and fishing with grandpa Redmont and his uncle Steve. Jordan loved his parents and Grandparents, he spent a lot of time helping them around the house and farm with things that needed to be done. Jordan’s family knew him only as a kind and mild-mannered person who brought fun to life and treated people kindly.
Jordan is survived by his parents, his partner Shala McKinney; children: Nash McKinney Naylor; Paxx J. Naylor; Grandparents Lamont and Janice Thomas; Siblings Kylie Hunt; Kameron Hunt and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Jordan was preceded in death by his Grandmother Colleen Naylor,Grandfather Charles Ray Naylor, Cousin Lindsey Thomas, and brother Morgan Hunt.
Jordan your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. We will miss you and love you always.
