Russell A. Stephenson, Ogden, died Tuesday

Russell A. Stephyenson, age 67 of Ogden, died suddenly Tuesday, Nov. 2.
He was born Sept. 18, 1909 in Blue Jacket, Oklahoma, a son of Augustus J. and Dana Wells Stephenson.
He married Ruby “Bea” Nielsen on Nov. 27, 1936 in Ogden.
Mr. Stephenson was comptroller and chief of finance at Hill Air Force Base before retiring two years ago. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his widow of Ogden; two sons, Michael L. Stephenson, No. Ogden, and Treve Stephenson, San Francisco, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Dean (Eva) Parkinson, Pocatello, and Mrs. Raiford (Dana) Benson, Malad.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at the Ogden 43rd LDS Ward. Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Mortuary, Ogden, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Chapel an hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at the Portage Cemetery with military graveside rites being conducted by the Ernest W. Jones Post of the American Legion.
