PROVO- William Joe Price, 54, Provo, died Feb. 29, 1976, in a Provo hospital of a heart attack.
Born July 18, 1921, Malad City, Idaho, to Joseph and Ella Rene Thomas Price. Married; divorced. Graduated, Brigham Young University, 1955. Veteran WW II, Marine Corps.
Survivors: sons, daughter, Steven Joe, Idaho; Larry Evan, California; William Joe Jr., Elizabeth, both Washington state; 2 grandchildren; mother; brother, John T., Provo.
Funeral Wednesday 10 a.m., Berg Drawing Room Chapel, Provo, where friends call Tuesday 6-8 p.m., before service Wednesday. Graveside service Wednesday, 2:30 p.m., Malad City Cemetery with military honors

William Joe Price, 54 of Provo, died Feb. 29 at the Utah Valley Hospital of a heart attack.
He was born July 18, 1921 in Malad, Id., a son of Joseph and Ella Rene Thomas Price.
He attended schools of Twin Falls, Id., and he attended Albion Junior College in Albion, Id. He entered the U.S. Marine Corps at the beginning of World War II and served 4 1/2 years. He was a decorated soldier.
After his release from the service, he attended Brigham Young University and graduated in 1955. He was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter, Steven Joe Price of Idaho; Larry Evan Price, Calif.; Williams Joe Price Jr. and Elizabeth Price of Washington State; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Ella Rene Price, Provo, and one brother, John T. Price, Provo.
Funeral was Wednesday in Provo. Burial services were in Malad City Cemetery where full military rites were given.
