FORMER MALAD CITIZEN BURIED

MALAD, Ida., Dec. 2.–Funeral services for William Price of Trenton, Utah, were held in the Malad First ward chapel Tuesday afternoon, with Bishop Jessie Dredge presiding. The following numbers were given: Selection by a male chorus; invocation, Josiah Price; remarks by President E. N. Crowther; vocal solo, Margaret E. Jones, accompanied by Mrs. Ruth Davis; remarks, William H. Richards, Charles Wood of Trenton and George Doane of Trenton; vocal solo, R. B. Davis; remarks by Bishop Harper of Trenton and Bishop Dredge; selection by male chorus, and benediction by Tal Reynolds, bishop of the Reynolds branch. Burial was made in the Malad cemetery.

William Price was born in Malad in January, [7] 1868. He was a son of John W. and Margaret Price. When a young man he was married to Susana Thomas [11 Jun 1886], to whom eight children were born, seven who are living. His wife preceded him [19 Sep 1908] to the grave by 23 years . About thirty years ago Mr. Price moved to Cache valley, dying in Trenton on November 27 [1931].

For the last twenty years he has been employed by the West Cache Irrigating company. Funeral services were held for him at Trenton on Monday.
