Faye A. Price, 24 April 1925

OGDEN – Faye A. Price, 71, passed away April 24, 1996 at her home. She was born April 24, 1925 in Cherry Creek, ID, a daughter of David Morris and Mildred Stokes Anderson.

She married Joseph F. Price on May 5, 1946 in Brigham City. He died July 4, 1965.

She received her M.S.W. from the University of Utah in 1970. Mrs. Price retired from the Division of Family Services in 1990.

Surviving are two daughters, Shelley P. Sheldon, Ogden; Melba Jo Price (Mrs. Bruce Tapola), St. Paul, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Reece J. Sheldon, Oakley Tapota, and Mariah Faye Sheldon.

Also surviving are one brother and three sisters, DeVerl Anderson, Brigham City; Melba (Bill) Winzler, Tremonton; Myrna (Keith) Christiansen, and Francie (Roger) Forsberg, both of No. Ogden; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Joseph F. Price, Jr.

Best of all, she loved us all.

Memorial services will be held Monday at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery in Bothwell, UT where graveside services will be held.
