Funeral Today For Paul Parry

Funeral services are being held at the Malad First Ward LDS chapel today (Thursday) for Paul Parry, 67, who died at his home about 11:30 p.m. Monday of a heart attack.

Counselor Royal Jensen is officiating.

Mr. Parry was born Feb. 9, 1892, at Malad, a son of Thomas and Sarah Colton Parry, He married Millie Jones Dec. 22, 1915, at St. John and the marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple Sept. 19, 1953. He was an elder and had served in the Sunday School superintendency [superintendence] of the LDS church. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his widow; three sons and two daughters, Warren J., Spokane; John Paul, Idaho Falls; William T., Ogden; Mrs. Forrest N. (LaDean) Dixon, Jerome; Barbara, Malad; 17 grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Joseph Parry, Salt Lake City; George Parry, Mrs. George W. (Lillian) Jones, Mrs. Owen (Nell) Ward, Mrs. Lyman (Mary) Ipsen, Malad.

Burial at the Malad City Cemetery will be directed by the Benson Funeral Home.
