FORMER ONEIDA RESIDENT DIES FOLLOWING HEART SURGERY IN SALT LAKE
Funeral services were held Monday at Aberdeen for James W. Palmer, 51, Aberdeen, who died Wednesday, Feb. 10th,[1966] at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City following heart surgery.
Mr. Palmer, a son of Fredrick H. and Ella C. Anderson Palmer, was born at Malad Oct, 18, 1914. He attended school in Malad and worked with his father in the transfer business before moving to Aberdeen where he farmed. Mr. Palmer was a veteran of World War II and active in the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; three children, Rosalie, Fred and Billy, Aberdeen; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Iona Woozley, Maryland; Russell, Ogden; Golden, Aberdeen; Johnny, Aberdeen; Mrs. Bessie Scott, Malad; Mrs. Mabel Leigh, Ogden; Jose, California.
