Sue Ann Burke
October 21, 1948 – January 8, 2022

Downey, Idaho… Sue Ann Bloxham, 73, passed away peacefully in her home in Downey Idaho on Saturday January 9th, 2022, after a 14 month battle with cancer. Sue was born on October 21st, 1948 to Louis and Leslie Bloxham. She was educated in Downey Elementary and Downey Junior High and graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1967. She later attended Ricks College and received her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 1971. During her time at college, she met her husband, DeLynn Uless Burke and they were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on May 29th, 1971. Their life together brought them 7 children and took them through 6 states and 2 continents until they finally settled in Arimo, Idaho where they lived for 29 years. Sue was proceeded in death by two of her sons Nick and Bryan, and her parents. She is survived by her husband, her three daughters Staci Burke, Catherine Swanson, and Sara Despain, two of her sons, Jason and Stanley and her two brothers Jon and Mark Bloxham, 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services are being held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arimo, Idaho on Thursday January 13th, 2022 at 12 noon. A viewing will be held from 7 pm to 8 pm on January 12th and from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on the day of the funeral. Both viewings will also be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arimo. The burial will follow in the Arimo Cemetery.
