Albert Bush – (Birth 6 June 1906)

MALAD – Albert Brockway Bush, 81, of 324 S. Main, died Saturday (28 May 1988) at his home.

He was born June 6, 1906 in Malad to Albert Walter and Rhoda Nelson Bush. He was raised and educated in Malad, graduating from Malad High School in 1926.

He married Clara South June 6, 1927 in Malad. He owned and operated a farm in the Buist-Arbon area. In 1971 they retired and moved to Malad.

He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Malad Lions Club and a board member of the Oneida County Farmers Grain Co-op.

He enjoyed woodworking, riding horses, hunting and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of Malad; two sons, Albert “Edward” Bush, Pendleton, Ore., and Jerry David Bush, Malad; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Clara “Elaine”) Knight, Elko, Nevada; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. John- First Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Jerry Bush officiating. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad and on Tuesday for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
