Mrs. Ann Madson Dies at Provo

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 5 (no year) at 1 p.m. in the St. John LDS Chapel for Mrs. Ann Clark Madson, 74, who died Tuesday at Provo of causes incident to age.

A Malad resident for 56 years, Mrs. Madson was born here Sept. 18, 1883, a daughter of Wm. Hyrum and Harriett Williams Clark. Reared and educated here she was married to John Madson on Feb. 15, 1905. He died in 1930. Mrs. Madson moved to Provo in 1940 to make her home there. She was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are six sons and three daughters; Mrs. Hattie Knight, Provo; James, Jack, Mrs. Harold (Elva) Williams, Malad; Mrs. Amelia Garrick, Los Angeles; Orville, Washington, D.C.; Grant, Idaho Falls; Park, Provo; 14 grandchildren; two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Henry (Mabel) Nieffenegger, Mrs. James L. (Elizabeth B.) Jones. W.H. Clark, all of Malad.

Bishop Melvin Yearsley will conduct the services and burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery under the direction of the Benson Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to the services.
