Funeral Friday For Mrs. F. Madsen

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Dalton Madsen, 82, who died Tuesday morning, Dec. 19, 1950 at the family home following a stroke will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Second Ward chapel.

Mrs. Madsen, a daughter of Albert and Mary Jane Dalton, was born at Willard, Utah. April 13, 1888 and moved to Malad with her parents in l901. On October 27, 1909, she was married to Franklin O. Madsen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was the mother of 10 children, 9 of whom survive.

Mrs. Madsen was an active LDS church worker, having served as Relief Society president in the Cherry Creek ward and counselor in the Malad Second ward.

Surviving are her husband and 9 sons and daughters. Clifford Madsen, Reed Madsen, Mrs. Charles W. (Faye) Ward, Malad; Mrs. H.B. (Ruby) Merrill, Bingham Canyon, Utah; Leland Ray and Dee Madsen, Patterson, Idaho Sgt. Dewayne Madsen, U.S. Air Force, Germany. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister, Eugene Dalton, McCammon; George Dalton, Pocatello; Mrs. Albert Woolslayer,, North Bend, Oregon.
