Lillian Williams Goodenough

GOODENOUGH, LILLIAN W.

Lillian Williams Goodenough, 59, of McCammon, died at her home August 2, 1975 following an apparent heart attack.

She was born March 6, 1916 in Malad, the daughter of Edwin and Bertha Williams. She attended public schools here.

On November 1, 1933 she married George Karl Goodenough in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They farmed in McCammon many years until his death in 1971.

Mrs. Goodenough was an active member of the McCammon Second Ward LDS Church where she held positions in the Relief Society and Primary.

Survivors include three sons, George Dennis and Larry William of McCammon, and Dr. Gerald Goodenough of Malad; one daughter, Mrs. Mike (Verda) Kiel of Dublin, CA; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Lester Williams of Pocatello; three sisters, Thella Nielsen of Pocatello, Mrs. Edward (Rayda Mae) Griffee of Fountain Valley, CA, and Mrs. Homer (Alice) Reeder of Glendale, CA.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the McCammon LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop William Howell of the Second Ward officiating.

Burial was in Harkness Cemetery in McCammon.
