EVANS, ETHEL BOLINGBROKE, September 21, 1890 – February 16, 1968

Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Ethel Bolingbroke Evans, age 77, who died February 16, 1968 at her home here.

Bishop W. Gordon Crowther conducted the service at Malad Second LDS Ward. Family prayer was offered by Lynn Alder; the invocation at the chapel by Ralph Bolingbroke, and the benediction by Ben Call. Speakers were Chester Lou Bolingbroke and Bishop Crowther, who read the obituary. Vocal solos were presented by Jenkin L. Palmer and Jenkin Jones. Accompanists were Myra Jean John and Betty Hendricks, who also played prelude and postlude music.

Dedicatory prayer at Malad City Cemetery was offered by Bishop Cleve Bolingbroke. Flowers were arranged by members of the Malad Second LDS Ward Relief Society, Verna Allen, President. Casket bearers were nephews, Jeff Alder, Henry Bolingbroke, John Bolingbroke, Robert Dorius, Bud Evans and Ellis Hughes.

Benson Funeral Home directed the interment.

Mrs. Evans was born at Malad on September 21, 1890 to Henry Mitchell and mary Lusk Bolingbroke. She attended Malad schools and was married to Gomer Jones Evans on May 12, 1912. He died December 29, 1967.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
