EVANS, ERNEST A.

Funeral services are scheduled Saturday at 11 a.m. in Malad Third Ward Chapel for Ernest A. Evans, age 52, who died July 13, 1971 at David O. McKay Hospital, Ogden, of natural causes. Bishop Lon W. Corbridge will officiate.

Mr. Evans was born August 25, 1918 at Malad to Thomas A. and Davinah Atkinson Evans. He married Bertha Viola Jenkins, June 19, 1942 at Malad and they were divorced, December 3, 1962. A member of the LDS Church, he received his education in Malad schools.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter, DeVerl J., Malad; Ernest Roy, Phoenix, AZ; Mrs. David L. (Marilyn) Brown, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; parents; two brothers and one sister, Elden T., Salt Lake City; Thomas Marion, Malad; Mrs. Frank D. (Vera) Burns, Bountiful.

Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to service. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
