Willard Ray “Bill” Kidman

Malad….Willard Ray “Bill” Kidman, 66, of Malad and former Ogden resident, passed away at his home in Malad on April 3, 2012. He was born February 24, 1946, in Ogden, Utah a son of Willard D. and Wilma Davis Kidman. He was raised and educated in Ogden and was a graduate of Ben Lomand High School. He married Doris Jean Kopinski (later divorced) and they were blessed with a son; Willard Shawn Kidman. He married Lesa Benson and to this union was born a daughter; Brenda Kidman (Mondfrans). He worked for Von Stauffer Towing Co., co-operated “Kidman Conoco” service station, and also had been employed by the Pepsi Company. In 2001 he moved to Malad, where he retired. Bill loved living in an area where he could enjoy his love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He is survived by a daughter: Brenda (Jeff) Mondfrans of Ogden; a son; Willard Shawn (Denise) Kidman of Rigby, Idaho; 2 grandchildren; Jordan Mondfrans and Cordelle M. Kidman. His father; Willard “Pete” (Nona) Kidman of Malad. He was preceded by his mother. The family will visit with friends on Monday, April 9 from 4-6 pm at the Horsley Funeral Home 132 W. 300 N. in Malad.
