Mrs. Ethel Lillian Thomas Evans, 75, died at Idaho Falls of a heart ailment. She was born June 16, 1891 at Malad to Reese W. and Elizabeth Wilks Thomas. She married Richard Eli Evans at Malad, September 12, 1912. He died November 25, 1963.

She attended Malad schools and was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include a son, E. Dean Evans, Idaho Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Peggy) Jones, Pocatello; Mrs. Norman (Wanda0 Day, Glendale, AZ; Mrs. Robert (Nadine) Cleare, Lancaster, CA; and Mrs. Lynn (Carol) Gilgen, Malad; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Nephi (Mary) John, Malad.
