Dean Farrell Williams, (1923)

Malad….Dean Farrell Williams, 86, of Malad, passed away on January 27, 2009 in Malad. He was born November 4, 1923 in Malad, a son of Lorenzo Joshua and Ada Clark Williams. Dean was raised and educated in Malad and attneded Malad high School. He had worked for the Oneida County Road Crew and also as a plumber with his fther and brother for several years. Dean was hired as a custodian with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a job he loved for 20 years, reting in 2000. Dean loved his truck and driving around the Malad Valley. He also enjoyed music and collected clocks and outdoor weather gauges. Dean was a faithful member of the LDS Church all his life. He is survived by several cousins, including Ruth Thomas of Malad, who cared for Dean the past several years. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Dairl, Vern and Kenneth. Services will be held on Friday January 30, 2009 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral home 132 W. 300 N., Malad. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday prior to services from 10:30-11:45 am.

Services were held on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home at 132 West 300 North in Malad. Burial followed in the Malad City Cemetery.
