David Evans Williams

CLARKSTON – David Evans Williams, 75, died Jan. 29 at his home following an extended illness.
He was born May 29, 1904 in Malad, Idaho to Thomas and Elizabeth Ann Evans Williams. He married Rosina Godfrey May 22, 1926 in Malad. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
He lived in Malad, Garland and Clarkston where he was a farmer. He was an elder in the Clarkston LDS Ward.
Survivors include his wife, four sons and three daughters: Mrs. Robert 0. (Rhea) Jensen, Mrs. Nick W. (Neva) Hidaigo, both of Brigham and Mrs. Thomas R. (Verna) Burns, Bountiful; Evan DeVerl Williams, Garland, Vinson G. Williams, and David Wayne Williams both of Big Sky, Montana and Lyle D. Williams, Salt Lake City.
He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters: Mrs. William (Victoria) Colton and Franklin D. Williams both of Malad; Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Green, McCammon, Idaho; Mrs. Don (Vera) True, Oak Harbor, Wash.; LeRoy E. Williams, Clinton; Vern Williams, Tooele.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Clarkston LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Leroy Goodey officiating.
Friends may call at the Hall Mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Clarkston Cemetery.
