Zella Marie Daniels Bolingbroke

ARBON VALLEY- Zella Marie Daniels Bolingbroke, 71, a long time Arbon Valley resident, died Sunday morning in Pocatello Regional Medical Center after an illness.
She was born Sept. 12, 1914 in Malad to Eli M. and Lily Bishoff Daniels, and she spent her early years in Arbon. She later moved to Pocatello where she attended school until her senior year in high school. She then moved to California where she graduated as valedictorian of her class at North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood, Calif.
She married Ephraim Bolingbroke Feb. 3, 1934 in Idaho Falls, and they were married for 50 years before he died on March1, 1984. After their marriage, they lived for a few years in Pocatello before they made their permanent home in Arbon Valley where they operated their own farm.
Besides helping to operate the farm, Mrs. Bolingbroke pursued her interest in music through the years by giving piano lessons and participating in church, community and family functions.
She was an active member of the Reorganized LDS Church where she served as a church organist. She also enjoyed reading, listening to classical music, and the artistic works of the area.
She is survived by four sons, Glen Bolingbroke, Arbon; J. Ronald Bolingbroke, Salt Lake City; Dr. Gerald Bolingbroke, Lamoni, Iowa; Dale A. Bolingbroke, Pocatello; one brother, Arlo Daniels, Pocatello; two sisters, Jean Hall, Coeur d’Alene; Rose Lewis, Pocatello; and four grandchildren. A brother, Richard E. Daniels died in 1971.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Henderson Fumeral Chapel, 431 N. 15th , under the direction of Pastor Brian Kauffmann of the Pocatello RLDS Church. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Burial will be in the family plot in Mountainview Cemetery.
