W.W. Harvey Died This Morning
Willis W. Harvey, 79, passed away this morning (Thursday) at the Oneida county hospital of heart ailment. He has been failing for some time but not until the past three weeks has he been seriously ill.
He was born in Wisconsin, May 14, 1863, the son of James and Dorithy Harvey.
On December 21, 1885 he was married to Jennie M. Jenkins who is living. In the year 1936 he moved to Malad where he engaged in well drilling. He was a member of the Methodist church. He was the father of three children, one of who survives, Mrs. Ada Barkdull of Pocatello, who was here at the time of his death.
He has one living sister, Mrs. J. Ackerman of Rensville, Minn. And one brother, Ed. B. Harvey of Rochester, Minn. He has eight grand children and nine great grand children.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at one o’clock at the funeral home.
Shortly before his death, Mr. Harvey requested that there be no flowers sent.
Interment will be in the Malad Cemetery. (Note: New Family Search indicates he was buried in Logan)
