Williams Paul Camp, 87, died peacefully at home on August 27th, 1999, in Washington. He was born on October 30th, 1911, to Williams Peter and Esther Violet camp in Pleasantview, Idaho. He married Dorothy Mildred McKnight on October 26th, 1945, in Bakersfield CA. Their marriage was solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple on November 20th, 1945

Paul was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He served as a high priest and with his wife served a mission to England. Paul was a World War II veteran, and served in Alaska and the Pacific Theater. He spent his life serving others as a mortician in Bakersfield, California. He loved poetry, woodworking, gardening and most of all his family. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will genuinely missed.

Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years: Dorothy; his two sons: Bill (Susan) Camp of Oakdale, California, and Tim (Karen) Camp of Bakersfield, California: a daughter: Diana (Tom) Yockey of Washington; 5 grandchildren: Ryan, Jane and Sarah Camp of Oakdale, California, Jason Camp of Bakersfield CA, and Laura Motch of Salt Lake City; and four brothers and sisters: Wendell Waldamere, Alta, and Alden. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and a sister: Virgil, Fern and Cecil.
Funeral services will be Saturday September 4th, 1999, at 11:00 a.m. at the Buena Vista Chapel, Washington, 807 W Capella Rd. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Saint George city Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary, 673-4221.
