Williams Evans Morse, 19 November 1905

BOISE – Williams Evans Morse, 90, of Boise, passed away November 5, 1996 of natural causes at Treasure Valley Manor. Funeral services were held November 9 at the Relyea Funeral Chapel in Boise. Interment was in the Samaria Cemetery.

Bill was born November 19, 1905 in Samaria, ID to William Evans Morse and Sarah Ann Evans. He attended school in Samaria and graduated from Malad high in 1926. He graduated from Albion State Normal School and eventually received his masters’ degree from Utah State. After teaching for several years he was elected as county superintendent for Oneida County. He then charmed and married the love of his life, Eula Marie Breeze of Boise. They were married in the Salt lake LDS Temple on June 4, 1941 and had four children.

Bill loved farming, was a tireless salesman, and had a long career in the civil service as manufacturing engineer. He was proud of his Welch pioneer heritage and had a great love for his family. He adored his wife Eula, idolized his father and loved each one of his children in a special way. Bill was cordial to all he met, more than willing to help and loved a challenge.

He is survived by his wife, Eula of Boise; his daughter, Rocell and husband William Low; his three sons, Bill and wife Edie, Vernon and Eldon; his sister, Verla Hill of Idaho Falls; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Vernon and Waldorf, and a sister, Velma.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
