MALAD- William Morse Jones 93, of Malad, died Friday, Oct. 27, 1995, in the Oneida County Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1902, in Pleasantview, Idaho, a son of Hyrum W. and Margaret Morse Jones. He was educated in Pleasantview, and was a graduate of Malad High School. As a young man he worked on the family farm.
In 1955 he married Udar  Christopherson Knuz in Malad. She passed away in 1992.
Mr. Jones was employed with the state of Idaho for a time; he also had worked in Utah as a custodian for several years. He had farmed for many years, early in his life and later when he returned to the Malad area.
He is survived by one stepson, Joseph Sidney Knuz of Salt Lake City, Utah; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Glenn (Donna) Morris of Malad; on e sister, Vera Jones Underhill of Dallas, Texas; two nephews. Darrell Jones of Layton, Utah and Micheal Underhill of Arlington, Texas;  two nieces, Margo Jones of Layton, Utah, and Barbara Sanders of Dallas, Texas, and several grandnephews and grandnieces.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300N. Malad. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. Until time of the services. Burial will be held in Pleasantview Cemetery.
