William James (Bills) Moser

MOSER, WILLIAM JAMES, June 10, 1927 – September 14, 2006

POCATELLO – William James (Bills) Moser, 79, passed away Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006 at a local medical center.

He was born June 10, 1927 in Daniels, Idaho, to Ernest Rensel and Mary Ann (Tew) Moser. The family moved to St. John, Idaho and he was raised and educated there.

Billy married Helen jean Wharton in 1948, making their marriage 58 years strong.

He worked for 43 years at the Union Pacific Fruit Express and retired from there.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Billy was an avid fisherman, hunter, enjoyed camping and the outdoors and snowmobiling.

He is surved by his wife, Helen Moser, Pocatello; children, Bill (Pam) Moser, Chubbuck, and Alaina (Doug) Sparks, Pocatello; brother, Conley Moser, Twin Falls, Idaho; and sister, JoAnne Frugoli, California; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael D. Moser.

Graveside services will be held at noon today, September 16, 2006 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, with military rites provided by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard. The family will meet with friends at Colonial Funeral Home from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to the graveside service at Restlawn.
