WILLIAM H. THOMAS DIES HERE TUESDAY

William Henry Thomas, 88, died Tuesday afternoon at the Oneida County Hospital of causes incident to age. He had been ill four weeks.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at the Malad LDS First Ward Chapel with Bishop G. Howard Neal officiating.

Mr. Thomas was born May 4, 1869 at Malad, a son of Henry Thomas and Sarah Morgan Thomas. He was reared and educated here. Engaged in farming during his adult life, Mr. Thomas married Sarah Jane Williams at Malad on October 5, 1892. Mrs. Thomas died January 9, 1954. Mr. Thomas was a member of the LDS Church and the Modern Woodsmen.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter: Mrs. N.M. (Bertha) Colley, South Gate, CA; Russell Thomas, Downey, CA; Samuel D. Thomas, Malad; Arnold Thomas, Downey, CA; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Goddard, Malad; Mrs. Dora Morgan, Inglewood, CA
