WILLIAM H. JONES

William Henry Jones, 93, died Thursday morning of causes incident to age. He had been ill two weeks.

Mr. Jones, a son of Thos. T. and Jane Moses Jones, was born August 31, 1861 at Mountain Ash, South Wales. He came to America in 1878 and married Isabel Rowland at Logan, Utah, Sept. 24, 1891. She died April 25, 1946. A member of the LDS Church, Mr. Jones was with the Union Pacific Railroad Co. in Pocatello until 1912 when he came to Malad and engaged in farming.

Surviving are two sons, Ev R. Jones, Boise; Rowland Jones, Malad; one daughter, Mildred Reed, Washington, D. C.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Malad Presbyterian Church.

Friends may call Friday evening and Saturday morning until time of the services at the home of Rowland Jones, 261 South Main, Malad.

Funeral services for William Henry Jones, 93, who died Thursday morning, Oct. 7, were held Saturday afternoon at the Malad Presbyterian Church with the Reverend William Crosby Ross in charge.

Reverend Ross also offered the prayers and spoke. Obituary was given by Griff L. Jenkins. Musical numbers were two songs by Ivan Dyreng, Floyd Fifield, Alma Reynolds and James Paschal accompanied by Mrs. Ivan Dyreng. Prelude and postlude music was played by Ruth Davis.
