William Evan Jones (Birth 19 Feb 1848/Death 16 Apr 1914)

William Evan Jones was born in Rahwyd, Carmarthenshire, South Wales on February 19, 1848. His parents were Eleanor James Evans and William Jones.

He married Martha Lucretia Lusk in Salt Lake City, Utah, May 28, 1942.
Together they had 13 children, 11 of whom survive him. He passed away at Malad, Oneida, Idaho on April 16, 1914.

Survivors: Widow and children: Berniece Esther (Leigh), Lucretia (Peck), Alpheous Lusk Jones, Bertha (Williams), James Lusk Jones, Olive (Clark), Hugh Lusk Jones, John Asahel Jones, Ellen Duvilla (Jones), Parry Lusk Jones, and Delila (Ward).

He was preceded in death by two sons: William David Jones and Thomas L. Jones.

He was buried in the Malad City Cemetery.
