WILLIAM CROSBY ROSS

Graveside rites here Monday for Dr. William Crosby Ross

Graveside rites were conducted Monday at Malad City Cemetery for Dr. William Crosby Ross who died Feb. 17th [1970] at LaJolla, Calif. Dr. Ross had been field representative in Idaho and Utah for the United Presbyterian Church from 1950 until a few years ago when he retired and moved with his wife to LaJolla. He was Idaho Presbyterian synod executive from 1938 to 1950 and prior to that, pastor at the First Presbyterian Church at Boise for 12 years. Dr. Ross had preached often at the Malad Church and was well known here.

The Rev. Dr. Ross was an executive in the operation of a Presbyterian Retirement facility at LaJolla. Surviving are his wife, Virginia, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. V. P. Garst of Minneapolis, Minn., formerly of Malad.

Mrs. Ross and a nephew, Charles Lundiss, Alton, Ill., were met at the Salt Lake City airport Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Fay Evans. Also arriving was Mrs. Ren Jensen, Ft. Collins, Colo., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evans.
