SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR WM. A. TUBBS

Funeral services for William Albert Tubbs, 87, who died July 15, 1967 at his home, were held Wednesday at the Malad Second LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop G. Max King officiating.

Family prayer at the Benson Funeral Home was offered by Richard May. At the chapel, the speakers were President Moyle Facer and Bishop Max King; obituary, LaRonna Anderson; prelude and postlude music, Carma Tubbs; vocal selections, Lloyd hess, Nelda Tubbs; invocation, Marvin Tubbs; benediction, Dale Tubbs.

Concluding rites were at the Malad City Cemetery with John A. Neal offering the dedicatory prayer.

Flowers were carried by the Second Ward Relief Society. Casket bearers were grandsons, Odell Byington, Harvey Hansen, Kenneth Misenhimer, Orlin Moon, Rodney Tubbs and Vernon Tubbs.

Mr. Tubbs was born Nov. 13, 1879 at Farmington, UT, a son of Daniel and Frances Anne Stuart Tubbs. He married Mary Katherine Johnson on Jan. 16, 1904 at Brigham City, UT. The marriage was later solemnized June 30, 1916 in the Logan Temple.

He received his education in Farmington schools. He moved to Idaho in 1907.

Survivors include four sons and five daughters: Verl Tubbs, Blackfoot; Orvil Tubbs, Holbrook; Junior Tubbs, American Falls; Earl Tubbs and Mrs. Archie (Letha) Neal, both of Malad City; Mrs. Cleve (Ireta) Moon, Pocatello; Mrs. Howard (Golda) Misenhimer, Rockland; Mrs. Willam Ordell (Ardella) Byington, Twin Falls; Mrs. Dell (Hazel) Hansen, Sugar City; 53 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Henry Tubbs, Tremonton; Mrs. Rosa Limb, Garland.
