FORTAGE RESIDENT DIES AT TREMONTON
Portage, Box Elder County – Weckford Hoskins, 69, Portage, died Saturday at 4 p.m. in a Tremonton hospital of a heart attack.
He was born Jan. 22, 1880, in Portage, a son of Josiah and Charlotte Lish Hoskins, and had lived there all his life.
He was married to Ethel O. Anderson Nov. 10, 1939. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors besides his widow, of Portage, include two stepsons, Warren H. Anderson, Ogden, and Raymond D. Anderson, Tremonton, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lucille Christensen, Tremonton, and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are nine brothers, Leslie and Bert Hoskins, Portage; Seymour, Isom, Hyrum and Elijah Hoskins, Ogden; Connelly Hoskins, Firth, Ida., and Josiah and Grant Hoskins, Blackfoot, Ida.; two sisters, Mrs. Zina John, Pocatello, and Mrs. Ruth John, Shelley, Ida., and an aunt, Mrs. Nettie Jensen, Brigham City.
