DOWNEY – Victoria Dorothy Hansen, 70, was found dead Friday at her home in Downey.
She was born January 8, 1914, in Ontario, New York, to Hans and Elenor Christiana Andersen Hansen.
She was an insurance claims adjuster with the Veterans Administration in Minneapolis, Minnesota, until her retirement in 1973. She moved to Preston to be with a sister and had lived the past five years in Downey. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include a brother, Floyd Andrew Hansen, Badger, Iowa; four sisters, Jeanette R. Wolff, Preston; Jessie Christa Denny, Moose Lake, Minnesota; Mrs. David (Sally) Harris, Clayton, Montana; and Ella Gillman, Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Graveside services were held Monday at Preston city cemetery with Bishop Carl McQuivey officiating.
