Tim Lyman Scott

MALAD – Tim Lyman Scott, 40, of Malad, passed away Saturday, June 13, 1998 at the Pleasantview Reservoir.
Tim was born April 30, 1958 in Malad, the son of Khalil and Edith (Patsy) Price Scott. Tim was reared and educated in Malad, and was a graduate of Malad High School. He later attended Idaho State University, where he was elected student body president of the Idaho State Vo-tech in 1991. He received a degree in marketing and management, and also a degree in associate of applied science. He held a 4.0 grade point average and was on the dean’s honor roll in 1991.
He had worked in the family business at Scott Services for several years prior to moving to Pocatello. He was a licensed real estate broker while living in Pocatello. He returned to Malad in 1995.
He was married to Carol Williams; they were later divorced. He married Lesia Williams; they were later divorced. He was married to Lori Laws; they were later divorced.
He is survived by his parents, Khalil and Edith, of Pleasantview; two sons and four daughters, T.J. Young, serving an LDS mission in Colombia, Christopher Laws, Pocatello, Jeniffer L. and Shawn Scott-Christensen, Pocatello, Cami Jo Young, Eddieville, Oregon, twin daughters, Tausha and Tanielle Scott, Pocatello; also two grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Tom Scott, Sandy, Utah, Dan Scott, San Clemente, Calif., Bryan Scott, Malad, Blaine Scott, Layton, Utah, and Sherrie Ainsworth, Fielding, Utah.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 18, 1998 at noon in the Malad LDS Second Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Benson-Hors-ley Funeral Home this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery.
