Funeral Service Held For Thomas Stuart

Funeral services for Thos(sic) Stuart who died Friday morning at the Dee hospital in Ogden were held Monday at 1 p. m. At the Second ward tabernacle with Bishop W. W. Thomas presiding. Mrs. S. A. Hendricks played the prelude and postlude, Joseph A. Jones offered the invocation and John G. Evans gave the benediction. S. A. Hendricks, W. W. Thomas, and Orval Harris of Stone were the speakers; and the musical numbers were furnished by girls’ sextet, Jenkin Palmer, Howell Williams, Fern Willie and Melvin Atkinson. Interment was in the city cemetery with Guy Benson dedicating the grave.

Mr. Stuart was born Jan. 13, 1875, at Malad, a son of George and Jemima Evans Stuart. He was reared and educated in Malad and was a member of the Malad L. D. S. Second ward. On July 28, 1900, he married Annie E. Jones at Malad, where Mr. Stuart had resided since.
