THOMAS REED

Former Oneida resident, Thomas Reed, 73, died

Thomas Reed, age 73, Orofino, died there Wednesday [January 1975] of cancer.

Mr. Reed was born in July, 1901, at St. John a son of John and Mary Jane Josephson Reed. He was educated here, and worked most of his life in sawmills and lumbering. He operated a timber farm at Orofino until his retirement.

In 1950, he married Mrs. Flossie Steadman.

Surviving are his widow, six step-children, several grandchildren: two sisters, Mrs. Nephi (Ivy) Price, Malad; Mrs. Gary (Carol) Florke, Sioux City, Iowa; three brothers, William, Ves, Malad; Ted, Palisades.

Funeral service and burial will be at Orofino.
