Thomas Jones, 27 December 1927

Thomas “Tom” Jones, 75, of Malad, passed away December 25, 2003 in the Oneida County Hospital.

He was born December 27, 1927 in Idaho Falls, ID, a son of Lyman and Sarah Mabel Evans Jones. He was raised and educated in Malad, was a graduate of Malad High School and later attended Idaho State University and Snow College. He married Marie Wharton in Malad and they divorced. He later married Eola Clack and she passed away in 1998.

Tom was employed for many years in California where he worked in the automotive business. He retired to Malad several years ago where he has since resided

Tom is survived by his two daughters: Barbara (Mark) Vernieu of Bountiful, UT and Glenda (Bruce) Hudgens of Sandy, UT; four grandchildren: Eric, Jason, Ryan and Ashlee; two sisters: Jeane Jones of Malad and iris Dawn Abbott of Sun Lakes, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Eola, one brother, Dick Jones and three sisters: Denee, Alyce and Babs.

Services were held December 29 in the Horsley Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Malad City Cemetery.
