SERVICES PLANNED FRIDAY FOR THOMAS J. REES

Funeral services for a former Malad man, Thomas J. Rees, 46, are scheduled Friday at Ogden in the Larkin Chapel or the Dawn with Bishop Joseph H. Hunter of the 57th Ward conducting.

Mr. Rees, who moved from Ogden nine months ago, died Saturday evening [March 28, 1964] at his home in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

A son of Gomer V. and Eliza Williams Rees, he was born at Malad Nov. 11, 1917. He was married to Betty Keane on Feb. 19, 1944 in Las Vegas. The couple lived in los Angeles until 1950 and from 1950 to 1963 they resided in the Ogden area.

Mr. Rees was employed as a missile technician at Hill Air Force Base and retired July 5, 1963. He was a member of the Sunset LDS Ward and Eagles Lodge.

Surviving are his widow and one son, Thomas J. Rees, Jr., Cottage Grove; his parents of Ogden; three brothers and one sister, Theodore G. Rees, Salt Lake City; R. Clifford Rees, Redondo, Beach, Calif.; Ray E. Rees, North Ogden; Mrs. Mae R. Mifflin, Roy.
