Theron Edward Bird, 71, 544 Fairmont, died Friday morning, January 21, 1994 in a local medical center.

He was born July 12, 1922 at Pocatello to Vern and Mable Covert Bird. He married Lillace “Andy” Anderson December 15, 1941 at Blackfoot, Idaho. He served during WWII in the United State Army. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at the INEL. He enjoyed horseracing. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the Teamsters Union, and the B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 674.

He is survived by a son, Randy Bird of Pocatello; 3 grandchildren, Shane and Scott Bird of Pocatello and Angela Terry of Caldwell, Idaho; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother Mel Bird of Malad, Idaho; 2 sisters, Norma Monroe of Pocatello and Donna Christensen of Centerville, Utah. He was preceded in death by his wife on August 11, 1985 and his parents.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 25, 1994 at the Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, Idaho.
