Theodore A. Toller, (1926)

TOLLER, TED – June 19, 1926 – April 8, 2003

Theodore A. Toller, 76, of Idaho Falls and formerly of Pocatello died April 8, 2003 at his home of cancer.

He was born June 19, 1926 in Malad, Idaho, to Henry J. and Anona Josephson Toller. He grew up in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1944. He served with the U.S. Marines in China from 1944-1946. He graduated from Idaho State University in 1950, with a degree in accounting.

On June 28, 1951, he married Mary Carline Lowry in Hailey, Idaho.

He began his career as a bookkeeper for Golob Oil and then Nate Morgan Jewelers. In 1956, he began working for Farmers insurance and in 1957, he was transferred to Idaho Falls. He retired in 1987 after 32 years as a claims representative.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and fly tying. For all eternity our Teddie will be dancin’ with the fishies on the South Fork.

He is survived by the following: His wife, Carline Toller of Idaho Falls; two sons, Tracy Dean Toller of Idaho Falls and Kelly Mitchell (Carla) Toller of Meridian, Idaho; two daughters, Julie Ann (Ron Skinner) Toller of Idaho Falls, Toni Carline (Brent) Culbertson of Twin Falls; five grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Toller of Clackamas, Oregon, and William Toller of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepfather, Del Dean.

Private family services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary in Idaho Falls.
