Funeral Monday For Mrs. Thelma Perry

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Eva Davis Perry, 38, who died in an Idaho Falls hospital Thursday following an extended illness, were conducted 1 p.m. Monday at the Malad Third ward chapel with Bishop Jesse Hughes officiating.

Prayer at the home was by Fred Waldron; prelude and postlude, Karen Hartley; invocation, Dave Lusk; benediction, Jas. B. Jones; vocal solos, J. Guy Gleed and Louis Yearsley. Speakers were Thomas D. Evans and W. W. Thomas who also read a poem composed by Mary R. Jones.

The grave was dedicated by J. Guy Benson.

Mrs. Perry, a daughter of H. R. Davis and Ethel Thomas Davis, was born at Malad June 18, 1914. A member of the L.D.S. church, she was reared and educated in Malad. In 1937 in Ohio she was married to Willard B. Perry who died in 1945. For the past year she had made her home in Idaho Falls.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Ehtel Thomas Gibbons, Declo, Idaho; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emily Thomas, Malad; three brothers and two sisters; John Gibbons, Bremerton, Washington; Kenneth Gibbons, Idaho Falls; Douglas Gibbons, Idaho Falls; Douglas Gibbons, U. S. Marine Corps serving in Korea; Mrs. Lewis (Emily) Leonard, Idaho Falls, and Mrs. Duwain (Rosamond) Balmforth, Idaho Falls.

Interment was in the Malad cemetery under the direction of the Benson Funeral Home.
