Tamara Field, 67, of Rigby ID passed away from a short and sudden illness on Saturday April 6, 2024, in Idaho Falls ID.

Tammy was born on January 4, 1957 to Harvey Henry and Minnie Daisy Amonette Field. Tammy was the fifth of their six children. She attended elementary and junior high school in Lewisville ID and graduated from Rigby High School in 1975.

Tammy married Collin Williams in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on November 30, 1978. Together they were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters. Although their marriage ended, they’ve remained friends all these years.

Tammy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many capacities including Relief Society, Young Women’s, and Primary.

Tammy loved being a mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong learner and received three bachelor’s degrees. She loved Hallmark movies, true crime tv shows, reading, Diet Pepsi, and white Reese’s peanut butter cups. She was always serving others and she had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person to her. She loved animals, especially cats and bunnies. She had a soft spot for people with special needs and spent many hours taking them shopping, to the movies, and high school basketball games.

She will be remembered and greatly missed for all her acts of service and kindness to her friends, family, and neighbors.

Tammy is survived by her daughters: Camille (John) Moore of Alameda, CA, Lexie Williams of Boise, ID, and Whitney (Rob) Short of Eagle River, AK, and her 7 grandchildren: Trey, McCoy, and Kenly Moore and Blake, Bryce, Aspen and Emery Short. She is also survived by her step mom, Donna Field, and siblings: Prudy (Gary) Gneiting, Debbie (Spence) Horsley, Paul (Kaye) Field and Van (Valerie) Field and her step siblings Scott (Mary) Criddle and Sandy Criddle and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Daisy Field and her beloved sister, Jeanne and step sister Susan Leonard.

Funeral services will be held at noon on April 11, 2024, at the Grant LDS Ward chapel, 3431 E 100 N Rigby ID, with a viewing Wednesday evening April 10th 2024 from 7-8 pm and Thursday morning April 11th from 10:30-11:30, all taking place at the church. Burial will follow in the Grant Cemetery, 154 N 3300 E Rigby.
