Suzanne L. Evans

Our wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Suzanne L. Evans, of 1036 North Hayes, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, March 13, 1994. She was 44 years old.

Suzanne had valiantly battled adenoid systik cancer since October 1991.

She was born January 3, 1950, in Malad, Idaho, the second of six children born to Thomas L. and Lucille Smith Laws. She graduated from Malad High School in 1968, and married Barry R. Jones in July of 1968. They had three children, and were later divorced. On November 23, 1988 Suzanne married Gary A. Evans at Pocatello.

Suzanne attended Idaho State University, and worked for several years for the U.S. Commerce Department Census Bureau.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her life was her family, especially her children and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her special dog. Megan.

Survivors include her husband, of Pocatello; her parents, of Malad; her children and their spouses, Tom and Brenda Laws, Boise, Stephanie S. and Rick Heffner, Logan, Utah; and Jennifer A. and B.J. Jones, Pocatello; two beloved grandchildren, Chlsea and Ryan Heffner; her brother and sisters and their spouses, Linda and Vard Williams, Boise, Tonya and Bob Buckley, Wellsville, Utah; Lorri and Tim Scott, Pocatello, Tom and Brenda Laws, Boise, Jana and Doug Hansen, Smithfield, Utah; she also is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a step-daughter, Mindy Kuta, two step-grandchildren and her special dog, Megan.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 16, 1994, at 11 a.m. at the Pocatello LDS 10th Ward Chapel, 1433 Gwen Drive, with Bishop Tom Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel, 510 North 12th Avenue. On Wednesday, friends may call at the 10th Ward Chapel for an hour prior to time of services. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
