SUSANNAH G. MORRIS

Malad, Idaho – Funeral services for Mrs. Susanne Green Morris, 75, who died Jan. 20, 1948 in a Malad hospital of complications resulting from a broken hip will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Portage, Utah Ward chapel by Bishop Ora H. John.

Friends may call at the family home in Portage Thursday evening and Friday prior to services.

Mrs. Morris was born Sept. 4, 1872 in Woodruff, Idaho, a daughter of Robert and Sarah Harris Green. She was married to David W. Morris in the Logan Temple, Jan. 3, 1895. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as a Relief Society teacher and in other Church auxiliaries for many years.

Survivors include her husband, David W. Morris, four sons and four daughters; Mrs. Azella Gibbs, Glen and Cloyd Morris, Portage; Mrs. Lavona Lamb, Plymouth, Utah; Mrs. Vareen John, Woodruff, Idaho; Mrs. Leah Merrell, Idaho Falls, Idaho; John R. Morris, Basalt, Idaho and David Morris of American Falls, Idaho, three brothers James, Bert and Daniel Green, McCammon, Idaho.
