Stanley Price

BOISE – Stanley J. Price, 58, formerly of Malad and Pocatello, died Tuesday, July 19, 1988 in a Boise hospital.

He was born December 16, 1929 at Malad, a son of Josiah and Beatrice Price. He attended Malad schools and Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.

He married Betty Anderson February 11, 1956 in Elko, Nevada. They lived in Malad until 1961, moving to Pocatello and living locally until 1971, where he operated a Conoco service station. In 1971 they moved to Boise. He operated a Shell service station there, later working for Western Construction.

He looked forward to deer hunting with his family every year, and enjoyed working on and fixing cars.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, and two sons; Robert S. and Richard J. Price, all of Boise, three brothers, Earl Price, Downey, Marion Price, Malad, and Ronald Price, Brigham City, Utah; two sisters, Pearl Kelly, Washington D.C., and Shirley Fry, Ogden, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Tonya Lynn, and granddaughter, Victoria Lynn, preceded him in death, as well as his parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were Saturday at the LDS Stake Center, 8620 Goddard Road, Boise. Bishop Paul J. Wilkinson of the 19th Ward officiated. Burial was in Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise.
